STICKMAN STEW LLC, a Rockport, TX based toy company, recently hired veteran children’s marketer, Einstein, da Vinci & Goldenberg to promote its posable plush line of characters known collectively as STICKMAN STEW® and The Gold Heart Crew ™.
CEO Jane Guinn named the New Jersey based agency to help launch the brand’s marketing program, adding “They’re strong in the toy area and I know this team is the best match for STICKMAN STEW.”
The award-winning toy company’s immediate plans include promoting the value of respect among children and parents, using the tag line “Respect. Pass it on!”
Jack Goldenberg, an industry veteran known for his kid and toy marketing expertise, adds “Texans have big hearts. Our toy characters all feature a gold heart. Now we’re about to prove Texas’s slogan, The Friendly State, and demonstrate exactly how Texas children lead the nation in doing the right thing.”
Goldenberg has helped launch such industry icons as McDonald’s Happy Meal, Cabbage Patch Kids, Pop Rocks candy and the Pee-wee Herman line of toys owned by CBS TV and marketed by Matchbox.
The agency already has designed several innovative kid directed promotions to be launched over the fall with a big surprise planned for the holiday season. According to Goldenberg, “This Holiday Season is going to be among the happiest for many Texas children.”
Rounding out the team are social media expert Lesley Vander Welle and communications specialist E Bingo Wyer. Vander Welle is recognized for her unique streamlined social media plans that quickly build engaged and meaningful vibrant communities, often in support of social causes. With 17 years experience as a communications consultant, building a relevant Montessori identity within her community, Vander Welle brings considerable children and education expertise. Wyer’s background includes senior management with several 4 A’s Agencies; she is a contributor to a variety of leading newspapers and consumer and trade magazines.
